Independent Specialist Report

AMC is able to provide Experts of all grades and disciplines including GP, Orthopaedic Surgeons, A&E Specialist and the other specialist to support the personal injury instructions. Therefore AMC is able to provide expert medical assessments and reports for a wide range of personal injury conditions. Within our scope we attempt to have a claimant being examined by an appropriate medical legal expert within 30 to 40 mile radius of their home address and with in the quickest possible time scale.

Service Aims

AMC aims to the law firm are:

To arrange the claimants appointment (Domiciliary examination can be arranged for claimants who, due to unavoidable circumstances are unable to attend the medical expert's consulting rooms.)
to provide a list of suitable qualified medical experts within 2 working days.
Appoint the appropriate Medical legal expert.
Liaise with the claimant to arrange a convenient time for an appointment during the week or weekend and inform the claimant and solicitor firms of any changes or cancellation to an agreed date.
The claimant is informed through post initially.
The claimant is given a reminder through SMS/Text massage.
The claimant is given further reminder through phone call/voice mail.

No-attendance of appointment is one of the main cause of delay in processing claims.
Our aim to approach the claimant and inform about the medical appointment
Informing the claimant claim management company and law firm of any delay in obtaining the medical records and preparing the report.
Forwarding the report to the law firms with in 2 weeks of the examination.

Medical Record Service

AMC is able to obtain medical records on behalf of the law firm. We are compliant with the data protection Act 1998.
AMC is able to contact GPs and health Authorities to obtain medical records including X-rays, CT scan, MRI scan and treatments records.
